I’m going to guess it’ll be in the display and brightness settings. But until people get their hands on it or a reviewer says where it is when the embargo is lifted, we will have to wait. Not sure why it matters until you get the phone anyway.

My bad. I thought it was a feature of IOS 16 that would work with my current phone, to give my IPP 13 max always on display.

It's exactly where you said. I watched a youtube video today from someone at apple park, and he showed the settings app. There was a toggle for AOD to turn it on or off. But that's it, no customization or something else

Some of the hands on videos showed a screen with the option to turn it off.. If I had to make an educated guess I would say Settings > Display and Brightness will have a section for AOD on the 14 pro. I'm sure this will be addressed on the 100s of first impression videos that will be released once the embargo is lifted tomorrow or Thursday.
