how do I TURN OFF backup iPhone

Its so freakin annoying. It takes forever and makes synching the phone painstakingly boring. I want to turn it off. I dont need my phone backed up.

To be short - You can't. The only thing you can currently do is click on the little 'x' in iTunes to cancel the backup. It will go on to do a normal sync after this.

Yeah I wish there was an option to only backup the phone when you want it.
