I upgraded to iOS 11 and my text appears much larger in size and bold. How do I turn that off? I already checked under Text section and the bold button is off. I tried decreasing text size but also no effect, except for messages and safari. Is there another option somewhere else that I am missing?

That’s just the new font.

I need to know how to remove the SUPER OVERLY OBNOXIOUS BOLD TEXT all over the UI or a way to GO BACK! If neither, hello Android!

I like it!
It gives room to the design to "breathe", also the new paddings look great.

The font is ok... The only thing wrong with this update are these annoying animations for every action.

Settings > General > Accessibility > Bold Text (Off)

I’m not sure what it is about the bold headers but to me they make the rest of the UI seem even more like scattered text elements against a plain white or light background. So far for me, iOS 11 feels like one of Apples least polished and consistent UI updates in recent memory.

I love the new iOS (but then, I always do love this time of year when Apple gives us lots of fresh new toys to play with)!

TD;LR: iOS 11 is 'sweet & fresh' BUT Apple needs to work better on its 'fit & finish'.

Seriously Apple - you've gone down hill, and this has been with Jonny Ive at the iOS helm.

Too busy doing voice overs for product demos, rather than working on the design of the product.
