How do I turn off "update requests"?

Every day I get an update request for High Sierra which I don't want. Every day my only option is to click on "try again tomorrow". Is there a way to keep this particular annoying update from popping up?

From memory you can click and hold on "try again tomorrow" to get more options.

Yes and I followed something listed online but I got the same update message the next day.
