Hi,

How do I type the squared symbol in excel on my Mac? I want to write kg/cm2(squared)?

Thanks

type the text kg/cm2 into a cell, then select the 2 and under the Effects portion of the Font menu select the Superscript option

Or

Go to System preference - keyboard - and select Show Keyboard & Character Viewers in menu bar.

Select character viewer in the top left desktop menu bar and most normal math functions are in there!

It stays put for future use, as well as then being available in all software. 😎
