How do I update my iPad mini to iOS 8?

This might seem like a stupid question, but I am lost here.

I already did that. It just describes the update. No "install" "download" or "update now" button.

I can't tap anything. It only gives the description and size of the update. There should be a "download" button but there isn't.

I figured it out. Not enough storage. It requires 4.8gb storage! Why?

No kidding. Must create a whole lot of temp files during the upgrade. :/ Guess you can do the old-fashioned "plug it into iTunes" upgrade method. lol

If you have a computer handy nearby you can update using that without having to sacrifice anything on your iPad.
