This might seem like a stupid question, but I am lost here.
Settings > General > Software Update.
I already did that. It just describes the update. No "install" "download" or "update now" button.
There is a lot of memebrs on tonight and a lot of new threads opened, so before this one disappears: How do i donwload the update?
Did you tap the update?
I can't tap anything. It only gives the description and size of the update. There should be a "download" button but there isn't.
Are you on WiFi?
I mean tap the description. That's what I did.
Do you have the amount of free space it requires?
I figured it out. Not enough storage. It requires 4.8gb storage! Why?
Thanks for your help.
Thats it thx!!
No kidding. Must create a whole lot of temp files during the upgrade. :/ Guess you can do the old-fashioned "plug it into iTunes" upgrade method. lol
If you have a computer handy nearby you can update using that without having to sacrifice anything on your iPad.
Got a bunch of macs but using them atm and not in the mood for ****ing itunes.
Gonna update later. Thx everyone!
