Shouldnt the OS 2 GM come up for me since I'm a registered developer? Or do I have to manually download from Apple Seed?

if you have another OS2 beta installed it will show up under the apple watch software update page. If this is your first apple watch beta you need to go download the beta profile from the dev site

Thanks! So is it a safe assumption that the GM is going to be the same thing released on the 16th?
Probably - unless they find something critical.

When I upgraded to OS2 beta 5, I emailed the config file to myself and opened on the watch and when it asked where to put the profile, I picked the watch and it will then see the latest beta/gm.

yes it runs very well just be careful as some of the non built in apps that aren't updated yet might hang in the background and drain the battery quickly.

I see thank you! My phone runs iOS 9 GM so on the 16th I should be able to download the OS2 without any profiles?

Any idea of how to kill those apps from running in the background?

Open the app on the watch, then after it loads, hold down the bottom square button on the watch until you get the power off slider. Then let go of the button, and hold it down again until the app closes and you are back to the main screen of the watch.

I don't think so...when I was having battery issues, the first thing I did was uninstall all the apps that were on the phone.

Then I added each one on separately, trying to figure out which one was draining the battery...eventually I just ended up closing each app through the square button on the watch after they were all installed.

another way to do it is just unpair and re-pair the the watch to the phone. although this doesn't really tell you which app went wrong
