I just bought a new 22" display and It works just fine under Mac OS X. I just connected the mac to the display using my dvi cable and the screen showed up itself. This does although not seem to be the case while using windows. What should I do in order to use the display while using windows?

what mac are you using? I'm asuming your on a macbook or macbook pro. If it has nvidia graphics do this while its connected via DVI:

in windows if your running vista or windows 7 just right click on the desktop and click "NVIDIA Control Panel". Then Look for "Set up multiple displays" Under the Display section.

Your second monitor should appear under there and you can configure it.

If your on an imac, mac mini, or mac pro the monitor will auto detect in windows as it does in OSX. If it still doesn't work try another monitor and make sure it isnt the computer itself that is the problem.
