iPhone XR How do I watch my iPhone on my Samsung Smart TV ?

I have Apple+ on my iPhone and would like to watch it on my Samsung TV. The TV setup shows to link a device and I choose my iPhone but it doesn’t link. It says it’s connected but then drops off and disconnects.

Any idea what I’m doing wrong? Thanks.

You must set your phone to send the video to the TV, not the other way around. Start the show in the TV app on your phone and then hit the device button and your tv should show up.

Does your Samsung tv support Apple TV integration? If yes then you should just be able to sign in with your Apple ID to make it work.

Thanks guys, I do have Apple tv on both - there’s a 7 day free trial on my TV for Apple+ - we’ll try to watch the Greyhound movie tonght.
