How do I zoom photos in open (file selection) dialog?

Hey,

I've got my first Macbook Pro a week ago and I'm very pleased with it.

I have a problem that I couldn't find a solution:

When I try to upload photo to the internet I need to select the photo from the Select File Dialog.

I can get to my photos list and to my event but the photos are too small - how can I enlarge them?

My macbook pro doesn't have the multitouch functionality (I bought the previous model to save some money).

I thought you could hit spacebar to use Quick Look like in Finder, but according to this article (http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=2008070307163663) you can't do that, however it offers another solution using Applescripts.
