Downgraded to Sequoia and it's a dream on my machine (M4 Max, 64gb) compared to Tahoe, I'm here for a while.
I understand that security updates ensure that the machine is kept safe from vulnerabilities etc. so they are mandatory updates, however my concern is with Adobe, Microsoft, AutoDesk etc.
When these developers build an application, do they build it with Tahoe in mind, so they are building for the most current and up to date OS. Or do apps like this get built for every OS?
In a year or so, what I don't want is my performance to take a hit because Premier Pro or AutoCAD is more optimised for Tahoe (or whatever comes next) vs. Sequoia...
