I'm pulling the trigger on a new MacBook Pro 14inch with 16 ram m2 pro I was thinking of moving from the 2tb ssd I have had in my 16inch MacBook Pro 19 to a 1tb I all so have the max apple one plan with has 2tb iCloud just want to know how quick will it full up compared to my 2tb :)

Obviously it will depend on what you need/want to keep locally stored vs. the cloud. I have the 2TB plan and a 14 1TB. It's fine. I've had it for about a year and still have over 500Gb available.
 
I went with 1TB because I realized if I ever need more storage I can use a microSD card in a flush mounted adapter and have all the storage I want with hardly any inconvenience.
 
RAM/CPU/GPU is more important upgrade than storage which can always be expanded externally.
