I know that you get 14 days from receiving it to return it.. but when you initiate the return, do you get extra time to ship it out, etc.. In theory, can I initiate a return on the 13th day to get extra time?

Are you wanting to compare a 12/12 Pro with a 12 Mini or something? I’m considering that, as well. However, I’m leaning towards the Mini less, as I’ve read reviews and looks at pictures.

Yea im getting the 12 pro tomorrow.. but im also curious about the 12 pro max.

You get 14 days to request a return, then an additional 14 days IIRC to ship the item back.

Funny enough, I was able to return my refurbished Mac mini 1.5 months after, I had to call them to request it though. They didn’t ask questions. They must be more lenient online vs in stores.

It’s 14 days and they give you additional 14 days from the date you initiate the return. So if you say on day 10 decided to return it, you initiate it and your 14 days starts there.

So you have till 11/6/2020 to initiate the return and you have till 11/20/2020 to return it.

I chatted with them earlier cuz I was curious since I’m on the iPhone upgrade program. They said to make sure I initiate the return a week before the pro max preorder. They said Apple won’t fix my eligibility to upgrade and cancel the loan until they receive the phone. I plan on testing the 12 pro over the weekend but am almost 100% certain I will return for the pro max. I currently have 11 pro max.

Yea it also depends on how it's purchased. Usually if purchased outright should be no problem.

Is there holiday return policy that is in effect for beyond 14 days? Or has that not started yet?

What holiday would that be?
I know in past years, when you get into the US Thanksgiving/Christmas/new years season, there's an extension to the return policy, usually near the middle of January. The correct date will be printed on the invoice that you get with your purchase. I can't say if there might be an adjustment to that policy this year, but you're not quite there yet.

I would by the 13th day. I’ve return a purchase on the 14th day at the store and needed manager approval even though within timeframe. No problem and rep said, just does. At least got sure no worries then.

The Apple.com holiday return period usually starts sometime in November
