How do you actually do a restore from iCloud?

I accidentally deleted some pictures from my iphone and I stored them on iCloud. (my phone is set to backup via icloud) How do I actually initiate my phone to restore them???

From what I've ready, you must restore your entire backup. There is no selective (photos only) restore. If this is true you will overwrite everything on the phone with the backup.
