    Flash in iWeb

It is possible to add Flash to iWeb, but a more important question is: Should you? If your site is for business, I would highly recommend you avoid it. Flash is under fire not just from Apple but many other businesses who are dropping it. The fact that Apple doesn't support it on iPod Touch, iPhone, or the iPad means that over 50 million iPhone users, over 35 million iPod Touch users, and a rapidly growing million plus iPad user base won't see the Flash on your site. Flash's days are numbered, and if you are just starting to think about adding Flash to your site, get a jump on the near future and avoid Flash. While you may think that Flash makes websites look cool, for many it is an inconvenience - not everyone has the Flash plugin installed, on many systems the memory requirements of Flash greatly hinder performance, and there has been a strong movement toward less razzle-dazzle and more easy to find content. Just give it some thought.
