how do you back up your iphone?

Do you back your ios devices to the iCloud or to your computer?

Both a couple of times a week. Better safe than sorry and only takes a couple of mins.

I am thinking of using iCloud but would love to hear issues that others have had in doing this.

I am a firm believer in backing up. I do both. I like the cloud but also do a backup in my computer.

I have been using DropBox for a long time and love it.

ugh i got duplicates in my phone. like one from i cloud and one from my computer. the icloud has 2 sets in so i'm trying to figure out how to delete that group of contacts

BOTH!

I have it set to automatically backs up to iCloud over WiFi.

BUT --

Any time I plug it in, I right click the device name in iTunes and select "Backup" to have a spare copy on my computer. Best of both worlds.

PC at the moment, but iCloud later, once I have time to sit down and work out the best way to do things. I want 3 devices to share all the data, but only some things to be shared with the wife, son and daughters phones. Items such as Some shared contacts, app purchases and some calendar entries can be shared, while images, messages, moviesic can be a per-person setup.
