Giuly macrumors 68040 Jul 10, 2013 #4 Take the drive out of the enclosure if you can, install it internally and boot via the Snow Leopard DVD. Then it's at the bottom in Disk Util. Or you just assume that it's broken, as there seems to be a problem with it. Hard drives fail.
