I have my 27" mounted on an arm, and I need to keep adjusting it for various purposes (watch a movie, play a game etc.), and I naturally grab it so that my fingers hit the screen leaving tons of fingerprints. Plus dust. Plus the random spray from an apple being bitten :). Bottom line - need to clean it pretty much constantly. The little black cloth is not cutting it for my heavy duty purposes.

So, what's your method? I think I should just use water and some kind of soft cloth that doesn't leave lint... or? I'm thinking of some methods used by photographers for their lenses... what do you do or recommend?

Seeing as how it's built-- glossy screen with decently thick panel of glass over it-- I don't see why a very mild glass cleaner wouldn't work. Just slightly spray a soft cloth and then gently rub the screen.

So far I've only used water, but I don't see how a mild cleaner wouldn't hurt.

    fixed.

water + microfiber cloth should do it. It's what I use on my MBP.
