My #1 reason for purchasing the iPod Touch is the wi-fi Internet connectability.
Even though I have 3 computers in my home and a laptop that I take from room to room -- all connected with wi-fi networking and I'net -- I haven't been able to put my Touch down. I think it's awesome that I've got the I'net in the palm of my hand.
At any rate, I'm curious to know how others connect to wi-fi? I'm lucky that I have it in my home, but I'm afraid that when I take my Touch into the real world I'm going to be at a loss without my I'net (unless of course I'm at a Starbucks or Barnes & Nobel or I simply hijack a connection nearby). What other options do we have? (I'm not about to pay $800 to my cell phone company to convert my mobile phone into a portable modem.)
How do you all connect? 🙂
