How do you delete an application?

Is it just a simple matter of deleting the application "icon" or is there more to it than that? Ive had a look around my mac but cant seem to find it.

Just drag into the trash. That's all. 🙂

that simple? thought it was, esp after installing something and no folders appearing etc etc.

I'm pretty sure that all you have to do is drag it to the trash like he said. Though correct me if i'm wrong, but maybe just the programs that include an uninstaller like Maya need to use that instead of just dragging it?

Well, you can do a search in finder for it and delete all the little pref files if you wish, but that is not necessary.
