How do you delete categories from reminder app?

Very simple but I can't figure it out.

Swipe from right to left over the category as you would to delete anything else. You can only delete custom categories that you have setup via an iOS device or Reminders.app on a Mac (I cannot delete categories from Exchange, for example).

That doesn't work. Just to be clear this is iOS 7.
