Upgraded 3GS to iOS5, lost all data, back-ups were deleted.

Just synced photos from iPhoto via iTunes. The photos on my iPhone are not on the Camera Roll but are on the Photo Library. I cannot figure out how to delete photos from this? ???

How do you delete a photo on your iPhone from the Photo Library?

I got a little lost in your wording but I think you just hit the garbage can under the photo on your phone.

are you on about photo stream??? - if so, go to www.icloud.com from a mac/pc or use iswifter browser on iPad 😉
anyway, sign in then click on ya name, advanced and delete photo stream..this deletes all photos in photo stream..

Ok, I know I can't delete from any albums on my iPad. Those albums are also on my pc. So if I want to delete one from an album do I just delete it on my pc? How do I get that change over to my iPad? Does the sync with my pc include that change?

Thank you Shandyman, that explains it. Will have to try re-syncing, 1st trying to see if I can select more specifically in iPhoto.

If you want to remove them all, just sync your device to an empty folder... If you want to delete some of them, just move them out to another folder and then sync your device
