How Do You Disable Auto Start up for MSN 8.0.1?

Recently bought a new macbook and I installed msn on it and for whatever reason I cannot remember at all how to disable auto start up at all, can someone help me out?

Right click on the app's dock icon, go to options and uncheck "open at login"

it was never checked :/

System Preferences > Users > Your user > Login Items > Untick MSN.

Also, unless you need video/audio chat I'd suggest using Adium instead of MSN.
