I have two account profiles I use, one for home and one for school. I have school related web sites saved in the school profile account and home related web sites saved in the home profiles account.

I also have wallpaper, documents, downloads and work for the school related one that is different than the wallpaper, documents, downloads and work for the home related one.

I don't want the two accounts sync when in comes to say bookmarks, document folder, downloads folder , wallpaper, browser history so on.

Is there way having more control so it not all turn on by default.

Note I have only one Apple ID set up do I need more than one Apple ID set up for what I'm trying to do?

Up to you, really. You could have one Apple ID for each, or you could disable iCloud in one of the accounts. To disable, go to Sys. Prefs, then iCloud. Turn it off there.
