An Amber Alert came through on my phone and watch the other nite. I looked at it and have tried and tried to dismiss it but it is still there. It is gone from the phone and I have turned them both off and back on since then but it is still on the watch. When I push dismiss it goes away but then comes right back. Every time I swipe down to check notifications there it is right on top. How do I get it to go away for good?

You can go into settings on your phone and turn off the alerts if I remember correctly.

Yep, did that but still have the original message on my watch. How do I delete the original message? I read it now I want it to go away.

Did you try reboot watch or iPhone or unpair repair watch? Can’t think of anything else to do. You could call Apple.

I tried turning it off for longer and it seems to have worked this time. The message is finally gone.
Thanks
