I find myself writing a lot of post-it Notes and then transfering them to a legal pad and then transferring THOSE notes to a computer list I type up. A lot of work but if nothing else it helps refresh my memory as to important things I might be missing.

I'm definitately looking forward to using some of the suggestions I've seen listed here though.
 
what i like about the GTD methodology (if i understand it properly) is that the actual physicality of how you do your system is irrelevant; post-its, blackberrys, moleskines, palms, it does not matter. what does matter is that you take all the stuff coming in, process it into the right contextual list (which is also physically irrelevant, can be anything) and then do it.

Yes, you are right. The 'contexts' thing is what sets it apart from other systems.

Since you mentioned them I can own up to an adiction to moleskine notebooks - the Apple of the writing stuff down world...
