How do you download Mavericks

When they release it...how do you download it so you can load it onto more than one partition? I want to run it on my none work partition before committing to my main ( work ) partitions.

Once the installation is completed, the Installer automatically disappears.

So, before installing, just make a copy of the Installer to another disk or another partition.
