Me too, even though I'm right-handed for most other things. Well, actually I smoke and drink with my left hand too.

Yes, same here, until I saw a WWII movie, where a British spy in Germany was tripped up when he switched utensils in eating his meal.

Since then I do not change hands at all, so I voted left hand, prongs down, but that is only while cutting. Left hand, prongs up whilst eating.

I was very young, and still impressionable.

Huh, that explains a lot actually.

My childhood best friend's mom is Belgian, and so whenever I would have dinner there, I followed the European style. I guess it just stuck because that's how I still use a fork and knife today (I mean switching seems so tedious ).
