I have been googling around and trying things for awhile now and just can't find how to do this. I don't mind paying for them so I just want to know how to do the straight up way.

I have read that there is a ringtone column in iTunes that says if a song can be used as a ringtone... I turned this on in my iTunes but none of the songs I own have anything checked in this column. Also I have seen people say when you right click a song there should be a "convert to ringtone" or a ringtone creator but I don't have any of this functionality.

I just want a ring tone it shouldn't be this hard to find! 🙂

Use this site to just trim down a song to make your own ringtone. You can't use any songs you've purchased through iTunes though.

Another way is if you go the iTunes, there should be a bell icon next to the songs that you're able to create a ringtone from, just click on that and the ringtone editor should appear.

You can also use GarageBand to make ringtones from any non-iTunes music that you may have.
