I finally received my dBrand Matrix Skin for my iPad Pro 12.9 (3rd Gen).

I also received my custom Retro Apple Logo for my iPad Pro.

I installed everything last night along with the skin for my Apple Pencil and it looks amazing.

I intend to use the Gel case when not using the Smart Folio Keyboard Case. It is much lighter with just the Gel Case. The gel case will add a little drop protection.

I got a 12" Notebook pouch which fits the iPad Pro 12.9" with gel case and also my Smart Folio and Apple Pencil comfortably. I then put the Notebook pouch inside my messenger bag which I carry to my office.

I have no issues carrying the my iPad Pro 12.9 to the office since I carry my bag at all times and so my iPad will be in it.

My 12.9 lives in a folio keyboard case. I bring it back and forth to work in a laptop backpack, along with my MBP.

My 11 lies in a folio case and doesn’t often leave the house. When it does, that also goes in the laptop backpack. Very rarely I’ll take just it, but just use the folio case.

I like the skin, especially the pencil one; except for the camera donut thing. Is that part of the iPad skin?

As for transport, I picked up one of these from Best Buy.
I can stick the pencil on the iPad, which lives in an Apple Keyboard Folio (12.). I also coil up the usb-c cable and a small microfiber.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/targus...nd-surface-pro-4-gray/5009828.p?skuId=5009828

it was in the open bin, got it for 29.99

I do use the iPad nekked, as well, usually for reading; so a skin might be interesting.

The donut thing on the camera is the camera skin from DBrand. I got 3 colours which I will change every 2 to 3 weeks.

I have orange, yellow and red.

They sent me 2 camera skins for each colour.

Ok I see now....thx just ordered the Bamboo and pencil skin....skipping the camera....looks sharp!

I keep my 11” in the folio at all times. When it’s leaving the house it goes into a cheap Lacdo sleeve I picked up on Amazon and then into my bag (which bag depends on where I’m going, but they’re mostly from Filson or Fjallraven). I have a nice felted wool sleeve on order from Westerman Bags but she’s having a bit of trouble with sizing, so it’s taking a while (she’s sent me two and neither were sized correctly).

When I travel with the 12.9, I put it in an Otterbox Symmetry case to add a bit of rigidity. I have an eBags backpack (the Professional Slim, I believe - awesome, btw) and the iPad, in the aforementioned Symmetry, the Keyboard Folio and my work laptop all reside in the laptop section of that bag. Everyhing’s nice an snug in there, then the other pockets carry all my other crap.

Just walking around with the 12.9, the Folio is often enough, unless I need a physical keyboard, then the Keyboard Folio it is! I may get some sort of sleeve for that, but it’s so rare that I travel with just the iPad that the backpack is often the preferred method of transport.

My 9.7" iPad (in a $10 SmartCase clone) fits easily in all my purses and that goes with me everywhere.

The 12.9" iPad, sometimes I bring a laptop bag and sometimes I just carry in-hand (easy enough when it's just car -> parking lot -> office). I recently bought a Kipling Camryn laptop handbag to make carrying it to work easier.

Looks sharp and professional! Well done!

I'm using the Apple cover folio on my new iPad Pro. I just throw the iPad into my Waterfield brief bag, which also holds the Apple Pencil and the Keyboard folio, plus a few cords and a charger, and personal items like my reading glasses, business cards, etc. It has enough room for legal sized files and folders as well.

Man dBrand really knocked it out of the park with that pencil skin. Fantastic work as expected by them.

Here’s what I use...

Smatree Carry Case — https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076Q5S4WV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_exueCbP67H6FJ

It’s got space for everything that would normally just rattle around in various pockets in my backpack.

Rugged enough to be thrown around in my backpack when I’m traveling. No worries about my iPad breaking!

There’s even space in here for me to put my iPad into an Incase soft sleeve, if I didn’t want to haul around all the stuff.

That is a sweet case. Mind posting a picture that shows how the iPad fits in there (ie. How snug).

I use the black Apple leather sleeve for my 11” iPP. It was actually designed for the 10.5’ iPP but it fits, albeit snug, with my 11” and SmartKeyboard attached.

* I love Apple, but I never buy their over priced cases. I ordered two kinds of 3rd party cases to try. The ESR magnetic folio kind for $23 and the FINTIE case for only $9.99. It has side protection & a pencil holder on the back for when you are not charging or using the pencil. Very cool. I actually chose the FINTIE case because I liked it better and will return the ESR folio.

** For extra padded protection when walking in the city with just my iPad sketching...or for when I put my iPad in my backpack when traveling, I just ordered two different soft sleeves. The TOMTOC sleeve with detachable shoulder strap for $30 and the LACDO sleeve for $10.99. They both arrive Friday and I will post my review for them and then choose one.

*** The Amazing thing is that if I kept all 4 cases, it’d still be less than the $80 Apple folio case alone. Lol.

Can you provide a link to the notebook pouch? Thanks!

I have a Midnight Blue and a White Smart Cover. I'm looking to add something to the front of the White Smart Cover. For now I just rotate them and keep them in a Timbuk2 Plush sleeve.
