Hi guys

I've just bought a new Macbook Pro and to my dismay, when I imported the iTunes library, data like my play count, date added, ratings and my playlists were all absent in the new library.

Is there anyway of getting these back? I really don't have any desire to re-rate 2000 songs in my library, far too much effort!

Thanks

To backup your iTunes library all you have to do is copy your iTunes folder to an external HDD and put it on to your newly reinstalled computer from there. I did it twice in the past few days, and every single aspect of the library is exactly the same as it was originally. If you used that method I'm not sure why it would be like that.
