How do you know when your local Apple store has more stock in ?

Hopefully not such a daft question guys.

My local Apple store (UK) out of all models. Only pre orders or later left , & all walk in stock gone. No problem with this & to be expected.

If i wanted to try & get a reservation for tomorrow (pick up) , how do I know if there’s any available in that store tomorrow ?

Is there another site somewhere to check , or is it a case of just ordering via Apple & getting the 3-4 waiting time , & then seeing whether available for pick up ?

Came up at exactly 06:00 for me. I was able to select the phone I wanted, and got all the way to picking a time slot, but when I pressed to complete the reservation, I got an error. Guess I was just too slow.

Oh how come! It's 06:24 and still the same page for me... it's really frustrating... I've tried quitting safari and starting again, clearing the cache, even went to a windows PC and tried on Edge... and also from a different network, and still the same page... I would be more hopeful if at least it showed a page saying "We are not taking more reservation, check again tomorrow" but nothing... still the same thing saying that it will open at 06:00

Same for me here in Australia! I was up at 5:45 and kept refreshing. It went live at 6:02 and had my model all selected, then had to pick a time and then BAM, no longer available! Try again tomorrow!

Pfft... It's 10:23am and the page is still showing "Please check back after 06:00,..." it's either bugged, down or they didn't bother testing the reservations page... I would really expect at minimum a "Come back tomorrow, or we are not taking more reservations for today" message....

I’m guessing it means check back after 06:00 tomorrow. I’ll be up to see if they come back on again.

Worst case...I have one that should “arrive by 1 Dec” anyway...but I wouldn’t mind snagging one sooner.

Didn’t happen to me... I woke up at 5.50, refreshed the page constantly from 5.55 until 6.10... then a bit less frequently from 6.10 until 6.35 and then I gave up... it never ever changed. I checked a few times through the day and it didn’t even change to something like ‘not taking orders for today’ or ‘check tomorrow’... Apple is just pretending that 6.00 hasn’t happened yet it seems...

huh. i didn't use that link, just used the regular apple.com at 6am to order the phone...and then was given an option for in-store pickup (which didn't show as available when i tried it a few minutes earlier). sorry it didn't work for you, though. are you in the usa? could be an america only thing?

It's fairly accurate. I think it's also regularly updated, so if you're unsure, you could also check last minute if you're going to make a purchase that day for a specific store.
