I've tried making iWork pages my default application to open up new documents I download, however every app I open still opens with textedit. It's getting to be very annoying. I click on the document, make pages the default, but then it only works on that document. If i try to open any new document it will still open with textedit. How do I make it so that every word document that I open (straight from download) will open with pages? Thanks.

Do as you have done so far, but also click the little oblong box down under where it says something akin to "use this app to open all documents like this" (sorry, my OS is danish). In the box it should say something like "correct all".
