Just wondering, but what is your major?

If I was in your position, I would just get a Blackbook/refurb Blackbook (which I can't since I don't live in the US anymore, the refurb that is). It's pretty cheap and it'll last you 4 years of your school.

I'll assume you're referring to me. I'm doing a Major in Urban Geography and a double minor in American Studies and Political Science. I saved up long enough for a brand new macbook and plus i got my educational discount so I felt good buying a brand new one.

If you decide to take out a student loan for a laptop, which there is nothing wrong with, make sure you do all your research and understand thoroughly how student loans work.

If you plan on attending a medical school, law school, pharmacy school, or any other profesional-graduate school, keep your student loans as low as possible.

Medical school is gonna run me well over $200k.. so i figured.. whats an extra $2500 for a computer to get me through it all? :)
