How do you preorder and trade in the iPhone 4S to the Apple store?

I plan on preordering the 5s but would like to trade in my 4s as well to the Apple store. Can you do both things online?

You can preorder online for pick up at the store. When you arrive to get your phone, you would turn in your 4S for whatever credit they will allow you.
