I've heard lots of people say it should be pronounced "ownage," since that's the word it's a typo of, or "pone-age," since that incorporates the P. However, I've heard people say "pawn-age," and even "pween-age." No idea where the last one comes from.

I'm kind of surprised that Warcraft (the original) is never mentioned in that wiki. I thought it was generally accepted that the term arose from a Warcraft map that was floating around in teh old3n dayz.
