Hello! I was interested in how people with gold/rose gold watches pull them off in everyday life? The watch is absolutely beautiful but I am hesitant to purchase it because I keep asking myself things like what if I have on silver jewelry one day or what if it won't match everything I have, etc. I know it sounds silly but I'm interested in what those who have these colors do as solutions. I am not interested at all in the silver watch and I would consider space gray but I'd prefer a gold or rose gold. Any advice is welcomed, thank you!

I see quite a few individuals with the rose gold. I think it's a much different looking rose gold from the rose gold iPhone. But I think the bands that match the best would probably be a brown or black leather. Quite a few Sport bands pair well together. If I had to choose, I would go with gold aluminum.

Yes I love the gold (s2 or s3) and rose gold (s2) color choices I'm just hesitant to buy them as I'm nervous they will be hard to match with it in everyday life especially since I wear a lot of silver jewelry. So I was curious to know how others deal with this or if they even have issues with it at all. Even the watch bands...a lot of the times the hardware on them are silver.

Same way you "pull off" a gold wedding band. While I love Pink, and wear a lot of it, all my jewelry is silver. This is why I got the space grey AW. I have more options with the bands, and don't have to worry about matching the watch itself.

That makes sense. The gold and rose gold are definitely beautiful options but I do think there are way more band options for space grey since you don't have to worry about matching it since it'll match with basically everything.

I think they undo the strap like the other models.

Black watch bands make the watch really stunning and work well with my style - I don’t wear any other jewelry though.

I have the rose gold with the pink sport band, and I find no issues. I am addicted to pink so people kind of expect it with me lol and it’s no different than having any non smart watch in all the colors and styles they come in.

Literally my life! Haha. Pink is my favorite color and I love all things pink. Rose gold is my favorite color of jewelry but I find myself wearing silver more often since it matches my style more. I went to the apple store today and looked at the Series 3 watch. The gold color was very unique and I LOVED the purple apple watch band they had displayed with it at my store. I just get nervous it won't match everything. It's probably just me though and not really something most people worry about. For example, in December I have an annual christmas party for work. This year I am wearing a red dress and would like to be able to wear my apple watch to the event. Maybe people don't really pay attention to the color of accessories and I'm just overthinking it.

I did the regular gold S2 last year because it was all I could find quick. I have a black band that helps it and to dress it up I found a gold milasian loop band that looks great. That said I can’t wait to get my SBSS in a few weeks, hopefully.

Ugh!!! I am right there with you. I bought the new "gold" series 3 and am REALLY struggling with the color. I had not read anything about the color change until after I got it. I think it is really pretty, but...I don't think it will match with everything either. I had the first series (7000) in silver aluminum and changed bands frequently, but thought it would be nice to change the color, since my wedding rings are gold. The struggle is real!( I probably am overthinking it as well). I may just get the black or space gray. I really LOVE everything about the new series 3, though, aside from the color change. :(

Yes and to be honest I didn't like the series 3 gold when I first saw it. I think it was because I was used to seeing the "pinkish" gold of the series 2 but when I went to the apple store today and actually tried it on and had it taken out to see out of the glass casing I loved it. I don't ever wear watches and I think that too is adding to my confusion on what color to get. The people I do know that wear watches usually match them to their outfits but I want my watch to be something I can wear every day whether I am dressed up or dressed down. I am glad to hear you like your series 3 though! I am continuously going back and forth on series 2 vs 3 and if I go 2 space gray is probably the color I'll end up getting.

Thanks for sharing! Congrats on your SBSS. I hope it comes sooner rather than later!
