Just follow our guide. There are a few different ways of doing it but I usually open the replies in multiple tabs and then copy/paste them back to one reply box. Just make sure you check your tags to ensure they're opened and closed properly. :)

Responding to multiple quotes at the same time:

1) Find the first post you want to comment on, and click the Quote button on the bottom right on the post.

2) Without writing anything, copy the text in the text field of the reply window.

3) Go back to the thread and locate the second post you want to comment on.

4) Again, click the Quote button on that post.

5) Paste the first quote inside the text field of the new reply window, either at the top or at the bottom.

6) Write your responses to the quotes and post the message by clicking Save.

Are you using Safari? I just go through the thread and hold COMMAND down as I click Quote to all the posts I want to quote. I then copy the contents of each of the reply boxes in each tab and paste them all into one reply box. Under each quotation, I write my comment.

Which part are you stuck at? :)

Here, use this code:

[QUOTE=Person 1]
I am person 1
[/QUOTE]

Hi person 1

[QUOTE=Person 2]
I am not person 1
[/QUOTE]

I'm glad about that

To give:

Yepp... that's what I do, too, most of the time...

Other times I just copy the text in the post(s) I want to quote and paste it into my answer in a quote tag,
quote.gif
, then just add the name of the "quotee(s)" manually or cutting and pasting.

Huh? :confused:

All of them. :eek:

The main reason I started this thread is for the sake of the moderators. They always have to go back and combine my posts because I've been making a separate post for each quote. :eek: Maybe I'm just too stupid for this. :(

Have a look at my earlier post: https://forums.macrumors.com/posts/2852342/ - that is all the vBulletin code you need to quote multiple people.

Just use

And repeat that for each person.

Have a go below :)

Just to elaborate, holding COMMAND in Safari as I click on a link (including the Quote button) opens the link (reply box) in a new tab. :)

I used your method MJ, but for some strange reason, the reply box opens up with small print when I click Quote with the command key held down as opposed to clicking Quote by itself. :confused:
