How do you "refresh" the Apple Store app?

I hear it's better to preorder using the Apple Store app. But, how do you refresh it when checking to see if preorders have started yet?

Not sure how to refresh it, but waiting until pre-orders begin? Bad advice since they may open up earlier than 12:01 PST.

They won't open up earlier than 12:01am PST. They will open up exactly at that time.

Just close the app and relaunch it. That will force it to refresh the content.
