Fairly new to the apple watch ecosystem. I have an SE and I'm wondering how do you guys reply using the watch? Do you guys mostly use scribble even though it can be slow most of the time? Also why can't the keyboard feature in the S7 be in the older models since some "keyboards" can definitely fit a keyboard in the watch screen? Genuinely curious here since I want to rely on my phone less. Thank you for helping a apple watch noob.

Most of the time, I use dictation to reply to a message. It is much quicker than trying to use the scribble method. You also have the option of using premade stock replies or creating some of your own to supplement.

One thing is that don’t expect to “use” your watch all the time. It’s more about notifications, health and exercise tracking, Apple Pay and complications.

Either I use dictation (if I feel the reply is straightforward enough for Siri to handle), or I simply don’t.

All of the above. If I can use the premade replies, I'll do that. If it's a short response, I'll scribble. If it's longer, dictation or pick up my phone.
