This has been a minor annoyance until tonight. I am attempting to watch the Phillies game via MLB At Bat, but for some reason my iPod touch thinks that i am currently at my old home in NJ when I am actually in Orlando, FL. It has been like this since I got the device a few years ago but this is the first time it has affected me (blackout restrictions with the app). I have tried resetting the device and it did not work.

Any ideas on how to get this thing to realize that I no longer live in south jersey?

Location services on the touch uses the Skyhooks database of known active wifi hot spots mapped using the mac address of you router. This info is collected pretty much the same way as Google maps with cars driving the streets scanning for active wifi access points and logging their locations. If you are using the same router you were using in NJ then that is the last location that your routers mac address was logged.

You can manually add\update this information on their site HERE but it can take weeks sometimes months for it to be updated and then slowly filter down to users.
