How do you schedule a running App to close at certain time?

Hello everyone!
I am using a video surveillance application that I need to quit at certain time at night *BEFORE* Chronosync backup starts running. I got Chronosync scheduled to start backing at 9:00PM and I need SecuritySpy to close before that. Any suggestions? Is there any app that does this?

I think Automator can do that. It's in your Applications folder.

Yup. Executing an AppleScript on a schedule via Automator is probably the way to go. Something like:

tell application "YourAppNameHere"
   quit
end tell

...assuming the app supports basic AppleScript commands.
