How do you setup your notifications?

How do you setup your notifications on the watch? I don't want a ton of them, only important ones (stuff from wife, work related, etc)

ANy good practices out there from users?

Go to Watch app > Notifications > select whatever you want to receive on your watch.

I have my text messages set up to notify me on the Watch. Then I added family members, specific friends and important work contacts to my VIP list. I set my phone to custom mail notifications. Only turning on VIP lists and thread notifications. That way I will always get the specific email notifications I want.
