How do you shave (your face)??

Learned by myself. Cut myself once but that's cause I didn't use gel/pressed too hard.

I use Gillette (never used an electric before) Fusion. I go with the grain.

Have never shaved against the grain but I read if you do that, there's a higher chance of ingrown hairs 😱

learnt by myself too.. my dad never showed me.. lol.. altho he probably knew i slyly used his razor a few times when i had some fuzz on my face 🙂

anyway, never use electric.. eewww..

if i wanna look real sharp, i shave both ways.. ie, with the grain and against for that closer cut and smoother feel - works very well when you have to kiss the females, as face is proper smooooooove 😀

how is the gillette fusion then? aint used it yet.. 4 blades, plus one on the reverse for the styling areas.. is that just a gimmick??

I actually used the Mach3 Turbo until my sister gave me the Fusion. I guess she's telling me something? 😱 But the Fusion is great! Except for the single blade on the back, I have tried it on my sideburns and it doesn't work 😀 . Oh and it vibrates too haha. I don't think that helps either.

I shave every day or two, use Gillette M3 Power and the Fusion gel, never been smoother. I used to use Quattro but having more than 3 blades just makes the razor too big to get into smaller places like under my nose.

I use a Gilette Mach 3, mostly against the grain (except for above my lip and under my nose). I use Edge gel for my shaving cream.

I never was able to shave against the grain until I got my Mach 3, for what it's worth. Before my Mach 3, I was getting razor bumps all the time.

i'm a cheap barbarsol kind of guy, it seems to always work the best for me anyways. also i have used a mach3 turbo for a long time and love that razor. has anyone ever used shaving soap and a brush. i have been thinking about trying that.

awhile back i used to go every three days and get a straight razor shave at the barber. man it was great, the hot lather the bs talk in the barber shop. not to mention a really close smooth shave. it was really cool. i wish i could find another old time barber shop like that again.
