How do you sleep?

If I'm alone I move all over the place. It's not uncommon for me to rotate 180º. I also like 2 pillows - side by side, not on top of each other, as this stops me moving across the bed. I wake up with a face full of pillow :D
I guess I start as a foetus and then go through all of them.
My girlfriend is a Yearner - but not in the characteristics described. It's simply that I'm always warm and she's always cold so she tries to steal my heat :D
I also snore like a train if I've been drinking :p

I have pals who wear earrings who are religious about taking them out since they're painful to sleep on. They're always astonished that I don't - regardless of whether they're rings or studs, there must be something about where my piercing is that means that I don't get jabbed.
Well, in most cases whenever I fall asleep on my left side there isn't really a problem, but over time I've woken up enough times with the ring (or stud, those few times I've used that) in painful position to prefer to sleep on my right side. Also when I, for some reason or another, don't wear the earring.

Actually I just started wearing my earring again after a long time without it. Funny, but very painful, story behind that. The summer of 2004 I got a new cat, and just as all our other cats always has been, he was (and still is) allowed in the bedroom at night (cosy to have a purring cat at the foot end), one night I woke up just noticing that the cat was nibbling at the earring, and just before I could understand what was happening he got a god "grip" and just ripped it from my ear. Talk about a scream in the night... :D After that I stopped wearing it for a while, but now the cat has grown up enough to not be that interested in the earring... for now, anyway... ;)

I usually sleep on my stomach with my hands crossed under the pillow (and my head) - don't know if that fits the sleeping chart.

I have found this the most comfortable way to sleep, as a %. I really try to sleep on my back, as it think it is the best for my body, but usually end up moving to either on my side or the position I first mentioned.

I also sleep with two pillows stacked on top of each other, partially so I don't feel my hands underneath my head. It probably isn't good for my neck, but no complaints so far.

I don't snore, but I do sleep with my mouth open - so I am often dehydrated in the morning. Don't know what to do about this...

That's basically hilarious :p

How do you sleep?

Like a baby - I wake three times a night and **** myself!

Probably soldier, although there should be a couch option where one hand is holding a bottle of cider.

Of course I don't sleep much anyway and even less right now 'cause we got a new baby.

I sleep diagonally. :D

"When you're there, I sleep lengthwise. But when you're gone, I sleep diagonal in my bed ..."

I'm a full-fledged yearner. But this damn evil bacteria's been killing my ability to like, breathe. So I've switched over to freefall of late.

Mhm I sleep freefall naturally, but I'm trying not to these days... I find it makes me look like I've just spent the last few days on a rollercoaster when I wake up in the morning!

If I try and sleep like a Soldier or Starfish I just don't get to sleep. I use these positions when I'm lying in past my alarm but don't want to nod off. I wish I could get to sleep in these positions but I just can't :(

I think the only position other than freefall that I'm managing to get to sleep in is Yearner :\

Gunna try sleeping like a Foetus as that's the most popular!

Fun thread :D

I sleep in every position every night. I'm what my roommate calls a "flopper". I guess that's because I have so much trouble sleeping. I rarely put a good buzz on but it seems that's the only time I sleep through the night.

I'll fall asleep in that soldier thing and then find myself half on the floor when I wake up. Safe to say, I'd die in war.

Freefall is the way to go.

I usually go to bed on my side, but before falling asleep I'll move over to freefall...and when I wake up I'll almost always be freefalling.

Then again, I do like to change positions a lot...rolling over in bed feels so good. :D

That sounds like how I sleep. One leg on its front, the other twisted up on its side, I lay on my side, one arm in front of my face, the other, behind my back.

Yea I kinda see what your picture is tryin to represent now... a little.

I sometimes sleep like a log because my bed hugs the wall and for some reason i like the crapness of being inbetween the bed and the wall...

Don't you love funny typos.
