Just updated iOS to 8.4 and from what I was reading before this update, you can sync a playlist from Apple Music to the watch. I can't seem to figure it out. I started a radio playlist, added all songs for offline, it's in "My Music" tab but it doesn't show up in the watch app.

There is a WatchOS update in the works. Im sure it will be out in the next 24-48 hours.
I just deleted the few albums I had on my phone and now I'm completely Apply Music (on the phone anyway).

My watch Music app still shows the old artists, albums and tracks that were on my phone before I deleted them. They just bring up an error message when I try to play them. Hopefully an update will fix this soon!

Create a playlist Apple Music using your phone. Go watch app select Music and Sync, select the playlist you created in Apple Music using the Music app on the phone. I was very excited to try today and it worked smoothly!

I figured what was wrong. You can't add someone's playlist to my music and sync to the watch. Like you said, a playlist has to be created first then add songs in them to sync.
