Looking for the setting to turn on/off the magnetic smart cover on Ipad. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    You can't.

Any magnet can turn off and on the iPad when held close to the right edge.

I can't get the magnetic cover to work. Have it on but when I close it, the Ipad does not turn off and it does not open when I open it. There use to be a setting in settings that you could turn this feature on.

With all the time you spent asking in this thread you could have found out the setting which is in: Settings, General ;)

    "Lock / Unlock"

Is it silenced? How do you know it isn't off. Does it not make the "sleep" shutter sound?

It's like a refrigerator light, if you open the cover to check it will come on.

Not sure about what happened to your device but on my iPad Air 2 the Lock / Unlock is under "Auto-Lock" "Restrictions"

I stand corrected. I never noticed that before.
