Now that I have my 10.5, I still haven’t decided what to do with my Air 2, which still works perfectly fine. For those who have two iPads, how do you use the second iPad? I know I could sell it, but I am thinking of hanging on to it. However, I haven’t even looked at it in the two weeks I have had my new 10.5....

Give it to an educator.

I have a mini on a stand in the kitchen as a control pad for our HomeKit devices. Also has the Logitech and AppleTV remote apps on it to control the AV system.

Alternate device for when one iPad is charging. Multitasking. iOS beta testing (or if I need older firmware for app compatibility). :D

My 12.9 iPad Pro stays at home while the 10.5 iPad goes with me tootling around town or on longer trips. The larger iPad Pro is the one which is great for sitting out on my deck and catching up with email, forums, etc., and if she runs out of juice (she's getting older, being first-generation) I simply run into the house and grab the other iPad..... I use both in the house depending on the situation and upon which device is more fully charged at the time. When the older iPad 12.9 begins to show real signs of flagging then I will consider a replacement, as I really can't imagine not having two iPads handy at the times I need to use one!

I use the IPP 10.5 for the Pencil and reading answers from my textbooks, and since the answers are in different pages and confront the original questions with insights, I am forced to read two devices at the same time. In my desk two iPADs fit, having two it's very useful for someone that wants to study.

I may also read things (ebooks, for example) in one iPAD (the old model) while I write (Pencil, GoodNotes) in the other (the Pro 10.5) at the same time.

My iPADs are: Pro 10.5 and 9.7 (2016). The Pro 9.7 is mostly used for watching videos. It is currently attached to the TStand: https://goo.gl/eBo5XK

Note: if it was up to me I would have two Pros 10.5. However I only sold one, the 256 GB wifi+cel, that's why I bought the Pro 10.5 recently. Still haven't sold the 128 GB wifi only.

My iPad Mini 4 serves as my e-reader, music, games device. I also stream my iTunes movie and tv purchases to it. It also serves as my travel device along with my iPhone. My iPad Pro is for movie, tv watching, internet browsing, limited content creation, YouTube.

I have a Pro 10.5 now as my main device that goes with me everywhere, and an original mini that I used for dedicated music and video streaming

I usually watch MLB on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 while I surf or work on my iPad Pro 10.5.

I only recently got the iPad and thought I was going to sell or give away my Samsung tablet, but I think I'll keep it for now.

I'm in my first two-iPad period – I held off for a while as my frugal self, and now I'm glad I'm here and have never felt like it's overkill.

• 12.9" Pro: by the iMac as an extra screen for web dev, extra Safari display, Procreate tablet, Astropad tablet, Logic Remote mixer, and other stuff. Also my main machine by the bedside / alarm in the morning, kind of thing.

• iPad mini: typically the one I take with me, type with, and read from.

But the versatility of being able to do anything with either is great.
