How does Apple know if you opened your iPhone?

How would apple be able to tell if i opened my iphone up and in turn void my warranty?

if you flash a light down the headphone jack, or the charging slot you should either see red or white, if its red i think that means you have opened it up. im not to sure what colour it should be though.

Plus opening the casing , it has a button that triggers a camera, shooting a photo right to Mr. Jobs.

The color change reflects that the phone has been in contact with liquid..not whether it has been opened or not.
